Jeffrey Johnson is currently Jeffrey Johnson is currently Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and Titusville. He was Professor of Music at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut for 22 years. As a journalist and writer, he has written for the Hartford Courant, the Boston Globe, the Stamford Advocate, and The Greenwich Time. He has published acclaimed books and articles on music theory and performance practice including books published by Greenwood Press and Dover Publications.

Jeffrey is in demand as a pre-concert lecturer and opera commentator. He has degrees in musical composition from Boston University, Eastman School of Music, and Ithaca College.
