Peter van de Graaff joins Exploring Music

Exploring Music adds Peter van de Graaff as an additional host beginning August 24. Peter is a longtime WFMT Chicago host who has been heard on WMNR since 2009 through overnight broadcasts.

Peter will continue Exploring Music’s weekly classical music journey with five-episode programs that focus on a particular, genre, music festival, or classical theme

Peter is a professional bass-baritone who has performed with the Chicago, Utah and Houston symphonies, among others.

His new programs will be heard one week a month. Previously recorded programs with Bill McGlaughlin will continue to be heard during the other weeks.
