After an 18 month absence Charles Frederick Secrease returns to WMNR when he begins on Monday October 3 from noon to 3 pm taking over from John Ryden. John can still be heard Sundays from noon to 3 pm.

When Charles steps into the WMNR broadcast studio, he describes the experience as “Zen‑like.” His cell phone is off, the outside world fades, and for a few hours he is “one with the music and listeners I love.” It’s a return to his first artistic home —classical music—and a welcome balance to a creative life that spans performance, teaching, theater, and community arts.
