Conductor Andris Nelsons featured

Mondays from 6 to 8 pm in May and June WMNR will feature recordings of Grammy winning conductor Andris Nelsons. Andris Nelsons has been music director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra since 2014 and heard every summer on WMNR Fine Arts Radio during our live Tanglewood broadcasts. Nelsons ends his tenure as music director at the end of the 2027 Tanglewood season.

The music making of Andris Nelsons will be heard in recordings with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Gewandhaus Orchestra of Leipzig of which he is also music director, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and others.
