Susan Prince has hosted programs and fundraising hours at WMNR for many years. Longtime listeners will remember that Susan began her radio career here at the station in the mid-80s. Since then she has lent her talents to three more radio stations in Connecticut and NYC. Most recently she hosted daily blocks on the Symphony Hall, Opera, and Pops channels of SiriusXM, which has worldwide reach.
Susan describes herself as a "born and bred Manhattan girl" however she attended high school in West Virginia and college in Texas. Her university years also included study at the Musical Dramatic Theatre Academy and ultimately she received her BA from Mannes College of Music in NYC.
Susan tells us "I prepare my programs with a cat named Wilder happily purring on my lap, much like Claude Debussy's cat when he composed. If Wilder doesn't enjoy the musical selection, it doesn't make the program cut!"
