One Great Song, Saturdays 6:00 pM

Rich Moran begin his relationship with WMNR as a fan and regular listener of Will Duchon’s The Night Café program. Eventually, he contributed recordings that Will used on air during his broadcasts. Then, starting in 2010, Rich began serving as an occasional guest host of the program. It is a role he continues to fill to this day. He also serves as an occasional guest host of H. William Stine’s Turntable For One Saturday night program.

In the fall of 2015, Rich was tasked with producing and hosting new episodes of One Great Song heard on Saturday evenings at 6:00. His new programs alternate with a rotation of shows hosted by Jay Harris that were originally produced from 2005 to 2007. In additional to featuring one great song, Rich has expanded the theme of the program to feature episodes centered on one great singer, one great songwriter, one great tribute and others “greats” that highlight the best aspects of the Standards repertoire.
