In April 2020, Charles Frederick Secrease joined WMNR Fine Arts Radio as the host of Wednesday Morning Classics. Charles is a lifelong radio listener who discovered WMNR via car radio when he moved to Connecticut. Fortunately for us, he heard our broadcaster recruitment spot and contacted the station.

He began his tenure with WMNR as social distancing regulations were put in place, thus his initial programs were pre-recorded in our Production studio. Now Charles broadcasts classical music live from Master Control each Monday at 8:00 am.

Charles began his musical studies with his father, a concert pianist and professor of music, and went on to earn multiple music and theater degrees. His work as a musician, actor, and director has taken him around the world and we’re thrilled he is sharing his time and talent with all of our listeners.
